Choosing The Best Baby Monitor
I have offered to buy my sister her baby monitor, I think she would like a video one. But which is the best one for around £100? Any recommendations?

i like this one as the parent unit is portable, it plays lullabys to the baby, has a temperature unit for the babys cot to make sure thier not too hot, you can switch it to night mode which means you dont need any lights on disturbing babies sleep.
It also looks good and is made by a reliable company (motorola)
it is £127 though
try reading online reviews for any products you find then you will know whether they are good or not xx
the motorola video monitor from argos extra is round about £120 we got it and its excellent!!! so sensitive very good in dark – highly recommend it !! – mine is the same as piglet below !!
I got a tommee tippee sensor pad monitor! it alarms if they baby stops moving, it is a fantastic bit of equipment it helps me sleep better when they baby is so I am not constantly checking on him..
here is the one I got it is really good quailty

for £53.79
also it has loads of fantastic reviews…
I wish I had bought one with my first child would of saved alot of worry and waking up in the middle of the night just to check to see if my baby was still breathing
here is the more expensive one on kiddicare.com
http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_61+349_10751_-1_14754_13862_10001_14754
its 87.99
the only difference is that it takes the room temp, I think have a look over them
the units have a tick sound when the baby is moving which is lovely also, and its not annoying or anything…
I wouldnt bother with a video one, I would go for a sensor pad one for your sister, it makes sleeping so much more relaxing
At http://www.JustBabyMonitors.co.uk, we recommend different baby monitors based on the “parents needs” rather than on a long list of features.
What ever you buy though, I’d strongly recommend you look at DECT ’secure digital’ monitors as they ensure that you’re sister won’t keep being disturbed by neighbours babies, and that she won’t be broadcast late-night sounds from her house on ‘radio baby-monitor!’.
Pop on over and check out our recommendations. If you like what you see and value great customer service then we’d be pleased to supply you with one
